GreenFields installs first artificial turf field in Namibia

The first artificial surface in the country is a gift from FIFA. The international football organisation hopes that this ultramodern field will further boost the development of the sport in Namibia.

The NSV, the national football association of this African country, is absolutely delighted with the artificial turf. “It is truly a unique experience for our football players to have the opportunity to play on this field. It will stimulate them in their advance towards international fame,” claims an official.

Thanks to this latest acquisition for Katutura, a lively suburb of the capital of Windhoek, the 'Brave Warriors' and other teams can better prepare for major championships and, of course, the 2010 World Cup to be held in South Africa.
