XtraGrass at Ricoh Arena Summer 2015

Aviva Premier League side, London Wasps had initially announced its intentions to replace the current pitch during the summer to provide an XtraGrass hybrid playing surface suitable for the demands of both rugby and football matches. However, following consultation and with very little time to spare, the rugby club decided to lay an interim natural grass pitch to ensure both London Wasps and Coventry City had an adequate surface to play on until the end of both playing seasons, in the face of adversity GreenFields UK stepped up to the plate an ensured that this dream was made a reality.

It’s exciting times at the Ricoh with its present surface being replaced with an GreenFields XtraGrass hybrid system during the summer, works are planned to begin in May and the pitch will be ready to play on at the end of July.
