Case story

King Henry School

Kent, England

Location: London, England

Product: GreenFields MX Elite 50

Date: Summer 2018

Project Description:

London based education facility, King Henry School selected GreenFields to resurface their old sand dressed pitch. The project began with the removal of the existing carpet and shock pad which was then replaced with a high-tech woven surface, which has previously been selected by many top football and rugby clubs around the UK. The 6344m² GreenFields MX Elite 50 woven pitch features integral white lines with additional cut in blue lines to enable a higher rental capacity outside standard school playing hours.

GreenFields also supplied and fitted 106m of 3m high pitch divider netting to separate the new 3G pitch from an adjacent sand dressed surface. On project completion the pitch successfully passed FIFA Quality standards and GreenFields assisted the school with maintenance advice and support by recommending and supplying a mini tractor in order for the school to keep on top of the regular brushing required to maintain the standards of the pitch. Following the pitch installation, GreenFields arranged for professional photography and drone footage to be taken and provided all the footage to the school to maximise fully in their own marketing materials.
