GreenFields MX Elite for Brazilian Football Club SE Palmeiras

The Allianz Parque stadium in São Paulo is the home of the Brazilian top club SE Palmeiras. Recently a brand new woven GreenFields artificial turf system was installed by SoccerGrass; GreenFields´ distributor in Brazil. The turf system installed is the GreenFields MX Elite 50 B s tpe-xt PE10.5+, which was especially designed for the club. A state-of-the-art woven turf on a Progame shockpad with high performance Holo TPE infill for optimal playing characteristics combined with the advantage of relative coolness of the playing surface during the hot summer months. It is a unique system in Brazil and in Latin America!

The modern artificial turf provides a constant high-quality playing surface inspired by nature; a huge benefit in this multifunctional stadium where natural turf never really was a success. The woven turf allows the stadium to organize multiple events and concerts with the possibility to play a football match on a high-quality surface only a day or less after the event. Palmeiras will be able to play more home matches than on natural turf. In addition, the new GreenFields MX Elite playing surface will help the club to save more than 500.000 euros on maintenance on a yearly basis.
