GreenFields Slide Max Elite first World Rugby quality program approved pitch in Spain

The new rugby field of the Lycée Francais de Madrid is the first field in Spain that is approved following Regulation 22 of the World Rugby quality program. The pitch consists of a GreenFields Slide Max Elite, making this one of the artificial turf systems offering performance and comfort in the practice of rugby. 

The “Lycée Francais de Madrid” is a school with a great tradition in the practice of rugby. The school has multiple sports facilities, one of them being the old natural grass rugby field, integrated into an athletic track. Due to the bad general condition of the old field and the exorbitant maintenance costs involved in its care, the school management had made an important investment to provide its facilities with a new added value: the new rugby artificial turf field.

Installing a pitch like this means providing Lycée Francais de Madrid with an added value in which the school can celebrate high-level rugby matches while the field can also cope with intensive training and multipurpose use.
